Filtration & Softening

  • Membrane filters

Membrane filters provide excellent filtration by effectively removing fine impurities such as bacteria, viruses and other particles from water. They are ideal as a coarse filter in systems with high sediment levels. To maintain optimum performance, membrane filters should be replaced quarterly as they become saturated with contaminants over time.

  • Activated Carbon Filters

Activated carbon filters are effective in removing impurities such as chlorine, odors and flavors from water, making the water fresher and more pleasant. The activated carbon in the filters becomes saturated over time, which reduces its effectiveness. Therefore, it is recommended to replace the filters every six months for optimal performance and to maintain water quality.

  • De-hardening

Softening helps to reduce limescale in water, which prevents damage to appliances and pipes. The replacement frequency of softening systems depends on the type of system and the supplier, but it is important to follow the manufacturer's instructions for optimum performance.
